Default Question on alignment

Hi so I got my lower ball joints, idler, pitman, and both cv axles recently done along with an alignment at a different shop. I just noticed I don't have a skid plate anymore. There are no bolts on the truck. Would they take the skid plate off for an alignment and to put the parts in? Thanks in advance! Ryan

I think the skid plate would have to come off for that.

To get at the idler and pitman I would say it has to come off as well. It would make all of that easier.

One of the shops owes you a skid plate basically.

Yeah but getting them to own up on it is the hard part since it was a month ago and they blame each other. So I might have to go to the junk yard and find a skid plate.

Sounds like a good excuse to go to the junkard!
