Im looking into getting a 97 or newer s10 blazer, I plan on lifting it maybe 2 or so enough for 32's have some fun ya know. Now i kinda like the 2 door style because of the ZR-2 i heard was the best, what are the pro's and cons of the two and which would be better to have? Personally i like them both. (Gas mileage, tranny, running gear along thoes lines)

Also im also liking the ZR-2 pickup so knowing a little more of that would be awsome.

Thank you, happy new year!

Wow sorry for the spelling..

Well me personally i went with four door because i have kids and i carry tools and schtuff alot.
my brother has a zr2, and while i like it...i still would choose four door. I like not feeling cramped while driving...i am in my car alot for work.

As far as lifting...i would think it would be similar both ways...prices may vary but i wouldnt think by much.

I think a better deal could be found in a 4 door, they're often family cars, adult owned and well maintained where a ZR2 may have been put through it's paces. The 4 doors are a little less desirable than a 2 door or ZR2 so they seem to go for less. This is just a generalization about the 2nd generation blazers I noticed when buying myself.

It seems to me like a decent ZR2 with around 130,000 miles and some use will list for 4000-5000 all the way up to 7000 where an absolute perfect 4 door with 50,000 miles should be available in the $4000 range. A 4 door in similar condition to the hypothetical ZR2 I mentioned should be buyable in the $2000-$3000 range
