Cool RE' Temp control

how does the ambient temperature sensor get a good temperature reading since it is behind the radiator???

heat from the radiator, and incoming air from movement of the car should throw the reading off in my mind !!!!!!!

Well, if it were behind the radiator, that would be true. However, it is not behind the radiator, but in front of it.
