is it the plastic handle that broke or the metal/aluminum rod it connects to?
my handle is fine but the rod it connects to broke, so i had the handle drilled out to the same size of the rod so it would slip over what was left then drilled a hole through the handle and rod and out in a nut and bolt kinda like using it as a pin, then i packed it with jb weld... it seems ok but i havent driven it so it hasnt really been used.

there are replacement handles that are made for this exact problem...there manufactured by HELP. Look into them. they look like the OEM part and work great!

Pain in the ****! Those damn recliner levers. Now this only applies to the cloth seats which are mainly the LS models.

From what I know, parts for Blazers / Jimmy's are plentiful in the States. So why don't you guys do what I did!

Go to the junkyards & get a set of leather seats from the LT. That way, not only do you solve the problem going forward but you gain leather trim & electric seats. All "plug & play"

I fitted the door panels from the LT as well.

The fix it replacement kits are an easy fix. The reason we don't go out and buy leather is the same reason many cars don't come with leather, we don't like leather.

my metal shaft it attaches to broke too. i am trying to decide against the $20 with shipping for the pair off ebay or the $30 per lever at another site, not sure if there is a quality difference.

define not much. the junk yards around me don't have nice seats let alone handles intact.
