Hard to say as the cam/intake and other things might limit where the redline is. In my car I wouldn't go past 6-6500, with about 5,500 the highest I would keep it before shifting.

The early- mid 90's Full sizes all had the 5.7 " 350" engine. Heres their gauge cluster

if i recall correctly redline is 5000-5500 RPM.

I saw a chevy 350 on summit racing that had a listed red line of 5400...I remember 'cause I thought it was low...then I remembered 4.3s top out only a touch higher

If its stock, I'd say that you'd run out of 'stuff' past 4500RPM. Modded, well that is a whole different story.

My 350 in my Chevelle is ballanced to 9000RPM. RPM limiter on that motor is set at 6000RPM due to the intake (single plane Edlebrock Torquer), carb setup, and the cam (which works best between 2500RPM and 6000RPM with the rest of the components).

Nice, thanks all you guys, the only mods i have on it are my 1405 edelbrock and a pro/stock intake which really doesn't do much. so i'll put it at 5000 to be somewhat safe thanks again!
