not sure if it goes here its to protect the front of your waggon from animals etc

last photo will show the whole lot when its done but I'm waiting on parts to finish my oil cooler

the normal bumper will slip over the brackets

Wow. Here in the States, we have many who have "brush guards" to protect against tree branches and brush but although cars hitting deer is not uncommon, we don't have anything like Roo Bars

So.... is hitting kangaroos common down under?

A lot of deer here in the states, see them almost everyday in my parts. One of the reasons I got a grill guard.

that one is only whats called a 2 poster and its alloy so its not to weighty
if you google search for 5 poster bull bars they have a lot more attitude and are a lot bigger

have a search for the Deni Ute muster have a look at that our rednecks are just as good as yours and our police have the same sence of humour

if I go out my front gate most days there are Kangaroos or wallabies and they range form the size of rabbits to humans and weight the same
camels, cattle and all sorts that come around rarely like pigs etc . birds like brolglas and they stand 5 foot easy, and alsorts of other stuff.

theres around 20 million kangaroos in queensland. so we need protection, on a 65 km stretch of road, at just on dark its not unusual to hit 4 or 5, and they are just so fast coming out of the scrub if your doing 50 mph and its open country, they are hard to miss

you try not to travel between dusk and dawn as most Kangaroos are on the side of the road around that time and if they jump as you hit them they can go anywhere

Ill add this link here for the pictures I don't know this company at all never ever used it

https://boomerbullbars.typepad.com/b...eral-thumpers/

to us brush bars are the bits that go up the sides off of your bull bar they protect your guards and your sills under the door most have a step on them.

out further west and into the northern territory theres around 250.000 camels and they seem to be attracted to your lights and they will come out of the desert in full flight and just run into you so theres lots of weird and wonderful creatures around then theres things like road trains, which make your 18 wheelers look like toys most road train start with 3 trailers but they go up from there.
