camels, cattle and all sorts that come around rarely like pigs etc . birds like brolglas and they stand 5 foot easy, and alsorts of other stuff.
theres around 20 million kangaroos in queensland. so we need protection, on a 65 km stretch of road, at just on dark its not unusual to hit 4 or 5, and they are just so fast coming out of the scrub if your doing 50 mph and its open country, they are hard to miss
you try not to travel between dusk and dawn as most Kangaroos are on the side of the road around that time and if they jump as you hit them they can go anywhere
they will take you on, they will lure your dogs into water then jump up and down on the till they drown them, they will balance on there tail and kick the crap out of you
to us brush bars are the bits that go up the sides off of your bull bar they protect your guards and your sills under the door most have a step on them.
out further west and into the northern territory theres around 250.000 camels and they seem to be attracted to your lights and they will come out of the desert in full flight and just run into you so theres lots of weird and wonderful creatures around then theres things like road trains, which make your 18 wheelers look like toys most road train start with 3 trailers but they go up from there.
