I didn't even pick up on this till after I read your comment. It looks to be an overhead console from a 2nd gen. Pretty neat!

Also installing a solar panel 100w with solar charge controller, battery and inverter. Off the grid woot woot!

Also considering bed liner paint for the chrome grille up front. Too shiny for me. What do y'all think?

Oh no kidding, looks the same as 2nd gen ones. I've never noticed one in a first gen.

Fuel storage is nice, I prefer steel jerry cans though. I've had mine for 6 or 7 years and it's been thru hell and back. I've even wedged it under my tire in a mud rut with a bunch of sticks and pulled out of a stuck before lol. And she's still going strong. Saved me a bunch of times otherwise too.


I've been considering doing a couple solar panels as well, one to an inverter, and one to charge the battery.

Got the smoked taillights, now just need the smoked headlights... maybe an HID conversion ...

Hid conversion for sure. Also the rotopax fuel tanks have a 10 year warranty too.
