Default Sad sad day in the world of my sonoma

So last thursday im turning onto the street my house is on, and its raining, and my front tires have no sidewalls, and well i hydroplaned over a curb and hit a telephone pole guide wire. Heres the bad pics

and then look what i got yesterday!

luckily a family friend is one of the best body guys in louisville, and hes teaching me how to do body work, prep and paint all these parts, at no cost to me except materials!

It doesn't look too bad you shouldn't have too much work to do.

it wasnt that bad, the fender had a crease in it and a few larger dents so i got an oem one for 25 bucks off craigslist, the hood had a 2 inch hole straight through it from where the cable snapped, and the bumper cover was done. But i got the cowl hood, the fender, and the bumper for a total of 495 so it wasnt too bad

Lol, the cowl looks sick, Wish I could hydroplane and magically get some family members to do body work With my luck though I would probably smash a whole side.

They have 4.3 High Output decals (assuming that's the engine you have) that you put on the sides of the cowl and it looks sweet.

Thats not as bad as when i hit a guide wire, dont have any pics of it, but i hit it with a 92 bonneville, crunched the hood, broke out headlights, broke some plastic off one fender, and both of the unibody rails were bent up in the front...........i also hit the side of a driveway (without a culvert luckily) and jumped about 6 ft in the air and cleared 30 ft to the wire
