Default Seafoamed the Blazer today

I noticed a lot of carbon in down the throttle body, so I bought a can of Seafoam, I've used it on all my vehicles. When I took the intake off the throttle body it died right away. So I just used the Booster Line. What a smoke show! Best one yet lol. I just changed the original plugs and wires the other day(125k, they were rough looking), probably should have waited til I seafoamed it but oh well. Better throttle responce now. Couple weeks ago I changed the original Fuel Filter, so now after all this, she runs like a Champ!

how does seafoam do as far as smoothing out idle?

My blazer seems to run fairly rough when idling at times but never very bad. I sort of figured it was just something all blazers did but the more it happens im not so sure.

that sounds like something more than a mere flush will fix. Can't hurt to try it though....

Run some searches on "rough idle" and "seafoam" is you see something you like, go for it...

Well mine idled a little rough as well, and it seemed to help a little bit. What rpms are you at when idling warm? I'm at about 600-650.

Default rough idle fix

Most definatly is your icv idle control valve its located right on top oh the throttle body. Were the air intake meets the throttle body. Its two tork bolts then if the spring and cone are even a little rusty then its bad. Thats if you have the 4.3 vortec with spider injecti

1995 vortec 4.3 v6 4x4 lt 4dr 2" suspension lift 31x10.50-r15 with ligt bar and soon to b a snorkel

Well after everything, Plugs, Wires, Fuel Filter, K&N, and the Seafoam, I've went from 16.6 mpg to 18.9 mpg. I'll take it! This was average on a 5 hour trip mostly highway. Right when I bought my Blazer and just this weekend.

How did you use the Seafoam? Just poured into your gas tank?
