Default Should a change coolant

Read a few forums recently about dex cool eating away at the intake gasket. ? I have about 153 000km on the blazer should I change the coolant to green and do a flush??

Under ideal conditions, Dex-cool is good for five years. In real life, that's probably pushing it. If it's even close to that old, you should replace it. Consider replacing the hoses at the same time if they're more than a few years old. I personally prefer green coolant to Dex-cool, but I'm actually running a blue propylene glycol-based coolant (Star-Cool) that claims to be long-lasting, and won't destroy engine bearings like ethylene glycol coolants will if it gets into the crankcase.
