If you got the 350 out of a 98 Z71 the OBD port should match up and everything should work fine (right Kyle?) I don't know if those trucks used the 4L60E transmissions or not... If it did and the engine cam with a 4L60E, that'd be great too, same transmission that Blazers come with. If you keep your eyes peeled, you could pick up the 4.8 from a later year, or even... dare I say, a recent 5.3L with 300+ hp.

I've seen http://jagsthatrun.com in my searches. If you type in "S10 or Blazer V8 conversion parts" into google you should find some stuff, there's even a manual available. I'm really not the best person to be answering these questions for you though...

Thanks, they're rare I think, at least around here, only 5 spd that I know of, I've seen black 2drs like mine, but watching them roll out of a light you can tell they're automatic.

Yeah, I found one in Arkansas after I got mine. I looked around and I think a 350/4L60E will work in that 98 so it may be time to go "shopping" at work...

95'? or 96'? Its got manual windows an locks, 120k i think, or less. Runs an drives up to 20mph. Correction to price, $400. A/C blows, but back seat an trans are the issues. I may pick it up also. If anyone's around Hattiesburg or Demopolis let me know, because I'm planning to build a blazer and I may need some knowledge. I'll also have lots of parts.
