Yeah thats a good site except that you have to have the 6" lift kit to use that skid plate. I have been thinking of fabbing one up myself out of diamondplate or something. I was also going to look into seeing if the ZR2's had skid platting for the diff and transfer case or not, since my dad's 02 Suburban Z71 has skid plating in those areas. If a ZR2 has skid platting there I was going to try and mount it up to my frame and make it work for me.

Dont get the ZR2, no way it will fit. It sits WAY to low and will be an absolute waste. Believe me I have the zr2 one sitting in the back of my truck right now.

My bad, I was in a hury and seen those. I didn't read the description.
I pulled mine off yesterday and I pulled the factory piece off of my friend truck and gave him mine. I decided that I am going to have a diamond plate one made and it will be powder coated body color. Since I got this new job, at least for awhile it looks like I will have very limited time off and it looks like I'll be working a mix of days and afternoons plusI stillgoing to school I figure I wouldn't really need it that much and my buddy kept buggin' the sh*t out of me wanting one.

i got the fall LMC catalog in the mail today, and they had 3 different options, Plastic, Composite (im assuming thats C-Fiber) and Aluminum they had 3 different skid plates for the whole underside of the truck, some of them said W/ZR2 but there were a lot that didnt say anything about other options

GMdid infact, make steel skid plates for the Blazer/Jimmy... but it was for the first gens.

For most things, I think 1/4" steel should be more than enough, lol

Gotta get some fabbed up for me, too
