Such a small and mostly unnoticeable mod to a newbie but its really sweet. Now all you need is some HIDs!!

i did mine flat black and painted the chrome strip color matched

When I painted the chrome strip I used a gloss black (midnight black) & after 4 coats of clear coat - a perfect match!

foxxie, go for it. I think that strip will look fab painted green.

Already done! even repainted behind the grill to clean everything up, its amazing how just doing that can change the look so much.

Nice! I wanna do mine black, same with the grill, but I'm afraid that the black will be to dark to match the rest of the truck HA!

where do you find matching paint?

If it's the same black as Kiwi's, you can probably use midnight black, probably from duplicolour.

*edit* Duplicolor... excuse the Canadian in me.
