Post Spark Plug Wires

I just got a new set of wires, but don't know which wire goes to which cylinder according to their length. I'm aware of the firing order on the distributor, but can't seem to find an answer as to which length goes to which cylinder. I don't have the old wires, so replacing them one by one isn't an option.

Simple, go with longest to farthest away and work your down. As long as you get them all on your good.

So the length of the wires have nothing to do with the firing order as long as I correlate them properly from the cylinders to the distributor?
