when i drive and i want to pass some one i give my blazer gas but it is like it is lazy. it takes a few seconds to down shift and acctualy go. i dont know if it is normal. but give input please

ya mine does that too where it goes like wah WAHHHHHHH as u mash the gas to pass. to me its not that delayed i think its kinda cool.

How does it react once it drops a gear? Does it feel like it has the proper power? Have you cleaned the MAF sensor?

wahhhhhh.... WAHHHHHHHH

then during capslock, kiss the passed car goodbye. I try not to mash the pedal in to do it itseems to accelerate better by easing it in.

Torque converter releasing, then down shifting, is what it sounds like to me...

Yeah, that sound is awsome! actually Idk if It's really that good for it. Its makin the engine work harder and faster. It's probably ok but its not good to do that very much, i'm guessing. Idk someone will probably prove me wrong some how. I just ease it, i usually don't punch it much. Lol. I agree though, it is fun!

haha well it does kill ur mpg lol but gas prices have become so high and i've realized my mpg isnt that great (a wapping 15.37mpg last tank) so if i have a lil fun every so often i dont really care.

Yeah, i hear ya. I'm gettin about the same. I don't get why It's so bad, my dad has a denali with the 6.2l v8 and it gets about the same as me, he drives it on the highway a lot, but still.
