I can clearly see and understand what the fix would require, but what or why would both of my sway bar mounting bolts on each side be shorn off the tops?..the bolt is wedge in with the bushing stacked/crushed...doesn't look good as the bolts were to the tops of these..
Oh well..Spring project...
Ball Joints, sway bar bushings and new mounting bolts.
ABS sensor wires..
New front tires..each side as the inside tread worn completely away..

That would take a pretty intense sudden body rock I guess..I don't really know!!
Has anyone seen sway bar quick disconnects for our blazers? You might want to consider putting some of those in if you're re-doing the sway bar set up if they make em

Corrosion coupled with inadequate pivot pushing lubrication can cause this to happen.

I'm just amazed that the bolts are hanging in there..wedged as they are, but I'm definately gonna have to dig into my front end and start replacing bushings, etc..we do have some nasty potholes around here, one caused a front tire to to leak down low..I was fortunate the radio was off and I heard the hissing...otherwise it would have become a bad blowout I'm sure..
