Default Swishing liquid noise coming from dash/console on 95 Blazer

My Blazer recently has this liquid swishing noise coming from the dash, or under the dash. The only thing I can think of is transmission fluid...but I was just wondering if anyone here had ever had this on their Blazer?

When ever I accelerate it sounds like liquid is swishing around. Really odd.

Thanks!

check your coolant level it's more than likely low, this happens to my wife's vehicles quite often...lol

Yep - that's exactly it. The '00 Jimmy did the same thing the first time I drove it after the eBay delivery guy dropped it off up here from GA.

This is what I found when I removed the radiator cap to check the fluid!

I just flushed it repeatedly. Believe it or not, most of that came out, but it remained that same crap color. Ran it for 40k miles, no problem (at least with cooling ...) until it came out and went in the Blazer. I ran the same radiator in the Blazer all winter until it started leaking this past March, right before we take it off the road in April. Stuffed a new one in there then. It probably wasn't doing it's job very well with all the residue stuck to the inside ...

Yep...looks like I'm low. Do does the 4.3L use the orange...or green coolant?

Thanks again!

Whats in it now? Alot of people dont like dexcool and flush it out and replaces it. If its clean orange, keep it dex. if its green, well get the green.

Well I topped it off with dex cool (the orange stuff that was in there) and now I have a nice puddle in my driveway...lol. Looks like there is a leak.

BresBlazy...what would be leaking back by the heater?

Possibly the heatercore if it's coming out of the little 90 degree nipple on the firewall at the bottom, also check the heater core hoses
