Default Temp for air conditioning?

What should the temp be blowing at with the air conditioning on inside the car? Thanks.

Does it matter if its the new R134 stuff as compared to the older whatever it was? I just had my A/C compressor replaced and it blows cool but not, you know ice cold. My dad's '04 Sonoma would give you frost bite on a 100 degree day, and I'm not exaggerating by much

I don't think an 04 would have R12 though unless they converted it back over which I think is technically illegal. I think they made the switch over to R134A in the early 90's.

Oh I knew it was the R134. I think it changed in '95, my '94 Caravan was converted to r134. I was wondering about the air temperature because of this:

In his signature is a '91 blazer which should have R12.
just wondering if the 40-45 air temptemp range was for R12 or R124a or if it mattered. Like I said, I think my '99 should be a lot colder than what it is. But maybe that's because its the auto climate control
