Thanks To This Forum, I Now Have Heat!!!
As some of you may remember, a couple of weeks ago I bought a used 03 Blazer.
Anyway, long story short, because of all the great tech info on this forum, I've been able to remedy a heating issue that I've been having with my Blazer lately.
As a result, I thoroughly flushed the rad and heater core, and now I have perfect heat in my truck I actually have to turn the dial down now for less heat LOL.
Anyway, thanks guys for all the great info...
Keep it coming

Here in Ottawa, we seem to be going through some kind of a warm front.
It rained all day today, what little snow we had is all but a memory.
It's 6 deg Celsius right now, overnight it's suposed to reach +8 deg.
Weird weather for this time of year, but I'm not complaining
That white stuff will be here soon enough, and then I'll be 4X4in in the store parking lot Muaaahhh

Gotta love canada.
A couple years ago I drove a 350 S10 all the time. Well, went out, it was -35, so I fired it up and started driving. Well, the wind chill made the coolant in the rad turn to slush and I overheated the engine in -35 cause it wouldnt circulate anymore when its thick like slurpee... Didnt know that was possible. Guess thats why you are to preheat the engine so it cant do that. Glad I have a garage now too!

Thanks for the advice Curt, but when I flushed out the old red stuff, I refilled it with the green.
I read on here that the red stuff was crap, so I decided to use the traditional green.
Thanks anyway
Go green peeps lol.
