Thief broke into my rear side window can't find a replacement
Hi guys,
I have a 2005 blazer 2 door, yep I'm from Canada
Anyways, some a****** decided to pry his way into my rear window. Eventually he got enough leverage and just yanked on the window until the lock broke (made of cheap plastic). From there he reached his hand through and unlock the front door...he stole about 3 cd's and a fake pair of oakley sunglasses tucked away in the glove compartment that I used for driving.
I've uploaded a picture of a 2003 2dr blazer to show the window I'm talking about. So what I've got is a broken lock that needs to be replaced, the window is still fine. I'm having trouble finding a part number for either the lock on its own or the whole window as a complete kit (lock + window). I've flipped through the service manual (it talks about every other window except the I need to fix). I've tried google but my results so far are fruitless.
Can anybody help me out locating one of these windows (on the right-hand side)?
Thanks,
George

I'm sure I can get you a new latch for it, you probably don't need to buy the whole glass. Get me the last 8 digits of your VIN (17 digit number at the base of the windshield) and I'll get you the part number tomorrow.
That sucks man. Sorry to hear that. Check ebay. I think you could probably find one there. If not, check a website like jcwhitney or a gm parts site. If you would be so kind as to next time watch the language. We like to keep this a family friendly enviroment lol. Sometimes you might say a little too friendly, but that's besides the point lmao.
Hmmm, I was just going to say that someone here can probably help you out and as soon as I hit ok to submit my post, I saw the previous post. I must have esp or something lol.

when I had to break my vent window...I just got a new one from a junk yard...I'm sure one of these guys on here can help....but my suggestion would be to check out the junk yard...
That glass is probably the most expensive window on the car! My cousin locked his keys inside his truck while he was out of state... he chose to break the smallest window.... he would have been better off to break the windsheild!
Anyway, lastcoupe could definately help you out on it.
Try glass.net too.
