Question tires and wheel bearings

I just bought a '98 Blazer 2dr Vortec V6 and it needs new tires and a new wheel bearing. I'd like to open up my options on tires and ask you guys what (in your opinion) is the best tires to get and if you have any site recommendations for me or anyone else. Same thing for the wheel bearings.

tirerack.com

Although I probably don't know the answer, you'll need to be more specific with what kind of tires you want. (A/T, R/T or mud tires) Also size and budget would help a lot.

I'm about to get the General Grabber AT2's after my next paycheck. After hours of research they look like the best for the money. If you plan on off-roading at all I'd suggest all terrains. Firestone Destinations were my second choice. The best thing to do is figure out what you want in a tire and look at reviews. That link has a lot of reviews plus google is your friend.

Those General Grabber's look real nice and all the reviews on them are great. not even that expensive either. I'm probably going to go with those. now just gotta go get some wheel bearings...

I really liked the Wrangler Radials at Walmart they wore good 45000miles. And you could not ask for a better rain and snow tire did pretty well in the mud too not to load i thought they were a perfect middle of the road tire.

Do you need front or rear bearings?

Front bearing. I hear a sort of grinding noise when I turn right and it is the same sound my saturn made before it lost a fight to a some black ice and a fire hydrant... but it turned out it was the wheel bearing then so i'm assuming it's the same story now

Again, I don't know much about this stuff, but unless you get some other opinions on this...do what i do...When in doubt, don't go cheap.
