Default Today is the day.... good by blazer.

I went and saw the s10 yesterday, and man is it nice. Its got a 350 bored to a 355, fairly new holley carb. Tires look like they have alot of life left. Body is so clean, so straight, almost unreal for an 86'. Shiny red paint, extended bed. Tilt wheel inside, got a grant steering wheel and some other parts to go with it.

Im pretty excited at this point, despite losing the blazer. He showed me the s10 he's pulling his motor from for the blazer, and his wife is going to use the blazer as a parts truck.

Ill let you guys know later how everything goes!! and ill have pics up!

Sounds good man. Will he let you take it to your mechanic for an inspection before purchasing by chance?

I dont really have a mechanic, but he owns a shop and does all the work himself. Im actually getting it thursday because hes putting a new rear seal on it.

Well yeah... but as the seller he is not as likely to tell you about some issues that a regular mechanic would.

Could be good to go to a mechanic still, even if you don't have a regular one.

Yeah i see what your saying, but this guy and his wife are pretty honest people. He turned down offers for boats, cash, and other things because he knew i have school and a job.
