Great deal.

A zr2 come from the rpo code and should be in the glove box.

Other than that measure how wide it is. They are like 4 inches wider than a 2wd and 2 inches over a normal 4x4 (double check those numbers). They will have a 8.5 10 bolt rearend. The front fenders are different than a normal s-series due to the larger opening for wheels and flares. Unless you know s-series your best bet is to check rpo and have the vin number ran.

I will get pics soon. i work 8-5 most days including weekends, my jobs sucks, so by the time i get home its dark and cant see much or do much for that matter... Yeah i hope its not too much of a money pit im expecting some things to go wrong and all but the drive home was really impressive, i was expecting worn steering and clunking etc but it rode just as good as my dads truck that has half the miles.

update: ok i uploaded pics in my profile! check it out. i found out it has the G80 axel and zr2 codes in every place (even tho i already knew it was a z). the only thing stopping it from the road is the brakes, the rear main line rusted out so im in the process of replacing all the lines.

For $800 = STEAL... but I see what could be front end damage. Check out opposite sides/points for misalignment, frame, mounting points for teh rad etc. See about a claims report, I'm thinking it had a recent front 'ender. Headlights are out of alignment or the grille is or the aftermarket hood is (I'll give ya $200 for it btw & take care of shipping myself lol)
Suspension looks straight, billet inserts for the grille - nice touch, bull bar with lights.

Very good buy @ $800! Even if something is crapped out you have a TON of parts & worthyness there, hell you could flip it for $3500 possibly.

Most likely that's a combo of headlight tabs that are not in the correct place and a poor fitting aftermarket hood. Every one of those cowls I've seen doesn't fit right around the headlights. Wouldn't hurt to get a carfax done though.

Looks great. You got it in the color I wanted. Want to trade for a 89k 98 zr2?

Ya, I'd say you're headlights aren't installed correctly, easy fix and will make the front end look much better.

Awesome deal by the way!
