Default Towing with Blazer?

I am thinking about selling my TBSS and building another daily driver s10 and had a 2001 xtreme offered to me for a very good price. The xtreme doesn't have any running gear so I would be putting my 5.3 in it with some other brake and suspension upgrades I have already. How would this tow a flatbed car trailer with my racecar? My tbss tows fine but is longer with awd so a little concerned with a shorter wheelbase Blazer.

Depends what kind of upgrades you do. And what the weight of the trailer and car is. Stock, an S10 isn't rated for much.

I would be doing 13 inch front rotors and duel piston calipers on the front with a narrowed 8.8 with Caltracs and lowered about four inches front and rear. The 5.3 I have is rebuilt with a T88 turbo and supporting mods. For transmission 4l80e with a small stall. Just worried about wheelbase more than anything. The trailer and car will be about max 6500 loaded with everything.

Edit the xtreme is a two door Blazer.
