....
I am leaving here in about half an hour. so the recovery team consists of three lifted and locked jeeps with winches, and if we dont have it back down by 2 when our other friends get off work we will have 5 broncos coming up after us.
we are gunna get this fricken truck

I dont give a crap about off-roading except stuff like this. It's fricken classic and I LOVE it!
THAT's what it's all about.
Same as in my day once and now over, now I'll watch and root from the bleachers... ermm ..make that the couch.

well... we didnt make it today. We got about 3/4 of the way up and one of the jeeps ran out of gas. we tried to fill up in town before we all left but the power went out right as we pulled into the gas station. My friend took a few videos, i only got one so far, he hasnt put up the other ones yet. i got a few pictures but i gotta get my data cable.
let me know if this video doesnt work. it shouldnt be locked, i logged out of my face book and i could still watch it.
This was just at the bottom of the trail, the first big tree. Im surprised our friend in the red jeep didnt break anything with the way he was driving. but he has welded front and rear diffs

ok well here are some pics
First tree:

the tree in the video:

Stopped for a quick picture break:

Deep tracks:

we had to lift up the front of the jeep to get the gas to the back of the tank so we could siphon some out. we just had to get enough out to get the other jeep back down. both were running low and conveniently both gas gauges were out on the jeeps

This window sticker makes me laugh every time

this is where we stopped, first we got stuck then ran out of gas trying to get out.

then we got the other jeep stuck.

well thats it.. hopefully more pics to come tomorrow.
