Post Troubled In Wisconsin

I've been a checking out this site since I bought my Blazer off my dad a few years ago. I just now registered because I am in need of real world opinion.

About a year ago the rear-end locked up in my 2001 4x4 4dr. It had I believe the GU6 rear-end, about a 3.42 I think it was. I had a line on a junk yard replacement and my hotrod brother put the idea in my head to buy this other one from him, because it was a locker. GT4 G80 i think. Cant remember what the gear is on this one.

So anyway, we put it in and a few days later I realize I only have front brakes. I logged on here to see what was up, and turns out the booster wont work going from discs to drums.

Add to that, after putting in the rear end, I never got the rest of the parts from the guy to swap the front, so I've read up that I no longer can use my 4 wheel drive, an obvious must for Wisconsin winters, and to have any fun in the summer

So, with all that in mind, my blazer is sleek and black, with no rust. It has just rolled over 185k, and the other day the front brakes started making a horrible screeching noise! So I have to do pads and more than likely rotors this weekend.

But, to get to the point, I am debating selling or parting it out. Just looking for opinions. My wife and I just had our first baby and I dont have the time, or shop space, to keep working on this. I did find the stock rear-end for about $200 about 70 mi away though.
What do you think?

If it were me, I'd pick up the rear end and sell it outright. Parting out a vehicle can take a while + it can be a pain.
