Default Unknown zr2 benefit...

So heres something ive never heard of. I had the unfortunate time of breaking 2 of my wheel studs off in the back. Pulled it apart thinking it was going to be the typical, pull the axle shafts kinda deal. But as it turns out zr2 axles(mine a 4 door, with a zr2 swap) have enough space between the hub and the backer plate to change studs. Who would have thought. So i guess another +1 to all the zr2 guys.

Just fits.


All the studs can be changed with minimal effort 😊

Pretty sure that all the 4x4 rear axles should be the same in that regard

BTW your backing plates look like mine. That is, non-existent lol

Well i guess ya cant always be right. Good to know the 4x4 ones are like that too. I had a 2wd axle under there before and you definetlty can't Change the studs on those.
