I have a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4x4....I read on Wikipedia that the 1995's didn't have a Vortec engine?? My engine IS a Vortec 4.3 engine. Maybe I just read it wrong and 1995 did come with the Vortec?

 

You can never fully trust Wikipedia. Sorry.
If it clearly says on your engine Vortec, then one must imagine it truly is a Vortec.

Our 95 is a Vortec.. only bad thing is that the tranny starts to go at about 100,000 miles

 

wikipedia ...its written by "anyone"

 

rebuilding a tranny isnt as hard as they make it sound

 

i had a 95 s-10 w/ a vortec. but i have never really knownhow$$ the "vortec" differed from the 4.3 non-vortec
