Default welding machine

I just bought a welding machine that is a stick and tig welder. As soon as I get the metal and rent an argon tank its going to be time to build a custom bumper and roof rack. Will defiantly be posting up pictures as i start building. Can not wait.

Stick (SMAW) weld the back of the bumper & TIG the front. TIG will give you the nice industrial welded look without the spatter & nice uniform weld beads. Stick on the rear will add more strength (wider weld) & the appearance won't matter. Plus stick will be quicker.
I look forward to pics & if you need any ideas PM me. Welder/fitter for 16 years & still am doing it off n on.

ooopth
For the rear I'd make built in tow points for D rings, pocket accessory/reverse lights that can be aimed a little. One bumper I saw was actually doing double time as an air tank. It had a schrader valve to fill it, air hose coupling & a gauge built in. I thought that was really cool & usefull.
