looking to replace my air filter, looking to see what brands you guys recommend. didnt know if the stock one was top of the line, or if there was a different brand. looking at disposable ones, none that you wash

i take it you use the reusable one? they make K&N disposables right?

I use the reusable one yes. I am not sure if they make a disposable one or not. I would think that they do.
The reason I got the reusable one is because it lasts quite a bit longer than a disposable, the oil is cheap and cleaning it is easy.

atleast on amazon they only had the reusable. whats recommended changing of air filters? im trying to get into a pattern, there was a Mann filter installed in mine. is there an interval or just if it looks dirty, replace it?

I'm cheap, I'm running a K & N. One time purchase, bought off Ebay.

This is something i have been wondering myself. Id like some opinions of people that have tried multiple filters and maybe noticed some differences. Im not really partial to reusable ones or non resusable, whatever works

i just bought the ac delco one that is stock for the truck. figured it cant be that bad.

Autozone has the knock off k&n drop in filters for 25 bucks. factory paper is like 15 bucks. Ive used em,works good.
