Replaced passenger side exterior door handle, replaced thermostat, cleaned and armor alled my door panels since they are off (waiting on my adapter wires to show up so I can install the new kickers), prepped the panels with new plastic retainers, and reinstalled the passenger side speaker baffle. Killed two drill bits on that last item. 👍

Scoops help to draw more air into the engine compartment, keeping things cooler and letting the intake breathe fresh air.(moreso on older vehicles with the airfilter right on top of the engine)...they also look nice and alot of people do it for the looks.

Started my truck today for the first time in almost 2 years!

Fired right up, and sounds pretty good with the engine work done

Finished installing G80 Gov. Lock Differential with a new ring & pinion gear assy. Currently breaking in the new gear set. This is on my 89 S15 Jimmy 2WD Auto.

They serve no purpose on these vehicles, since the air intake is located in the radiator core. (If you have the stock engine)

This would technically be called a cowl not a scoop. A scoop would bring cool air into the engine compartment where a cowl would help to move hot air out of the engine compartment.

This would be considered a scoop
