Been a while since I posted on here. I have a few things planned today, got all the parts in yesterday.

New brake pads and rotors

New CV shafts
New shocks
Add A Leaf (Rear end is starting to sag)
Rewire my tachometer

Hopefully I can get to the junkyard in time and see if I can find a new proportioning valve.

I had a great day with the '93 Jimmy. Monday I finished replacing the shaft seals on the transfer case. Today my buddy and I got the case back up under the truck and snuggled up to my favorite 4L60E. I got cold and hungry before I put the drive shafts back on so I'll finish that on Friday. I'm looking forward to getting this thing back on the road!

Continuing my install of the new front end parts. What a headache... Quick question : The new Pro Comp ES1000 shocks are a bit more narrow at the mounting eyelets, they don't seat snug with the mounting brackets. Do I need to buy shims (probably just go with some high grade washers), or is it suppose to be that way? There's about a 1/4" gap in all.

Got the front end finished up yesterday! Brake performance is still really poor. That's what I'm working on today. Got out of work early, so I have the entire day to troubleshoot.

Took the pin striping off one side of mine(thank you to whoever suggested the heat gun/hair dryer. it worked like a charm. a little rubbing compound and elbow grease has gotten rid of all of the residue and dirt that was underneath. Going to work on the other side shortly.

Regards
