Gotta love HEE-HAW! Good stuff there, Brian - haven't seen that show in ages.

Geesh, glad you didn't get hurt!! Damn jacks ... I got a crash course in using jack stands when I was about 8 years old. My grandfather was jacking up his Comet with the crap scissor jack that came from FoMoCo. My dad attempted to yank the drum off and the whole thing came down as he shoved me out of the way! He looked me in the eye and said, "That's why you ALWAYS use JACK STANDS!" I never forgot that. Probably saved my life 10x by now, I'm certain.

Fixed a fuel leak at the tank.
Return line to the fuel pump had about a foot of rubber line at the pump, started leaking.

Took a whole 10 minutes to repair thanks to me cutting that access panel in the floor

Default brakes started...

Hi - did one side of front brakes today after they started grinding a few days ago. Outer side of rotor looked fine, but inner pad shot and rotor pitted. Luckily an easy fix except it took awhile to get the caliper pins loose. Tomorrow - other side. ( new rotors, pins, grease) Then snow tires go on. Still procrastinating on installing the new stereo I bought - the old one is about 3 times as large and I suspect this is gong to be a pain in the keester. Maybe I'll prep the wiring harness to start...

Smile Re:Front end clunking

I just wanted to tell the guys who gave me their opinion on why and what maybe making the clunking sound on the front driver`s side.I had went to purchase 4 new tires plus a front end alignment today. The driver side caster was 6 degree`s off .So know the clunks went away.I had a feeling that between the front end not being aligned correctly, having bald ,bad tires was the culprit.I should get alot better MPG for sure, plus it rides smooth like a cadilac.
