Glad to help, These things are notorious for having the bushings go bad.
I dont recall if it says in the post I linked you to, but making a little bushing press is super simple. 1/4 inch bolt and nut with some washers and a socket, almost like a ball joint press.

That's a great tip with the bolt - works great.

I made a press out of 3/8" threaded rod to install swingarm bearings in my '94 CBR600F2 back in the day. Just threw a big washer on each side followed by the nuts. Pulled them both in, and once one bearing bottomed out, the other went much quicker.

Used to do that alot before I got my Harbor FRIGHT press, lol.

Figured out the really irritating exhaust rattle around 1000-1200 rpms, turns out to most likely be the resonator garbage can in the rear. going to chop that sucker off and put in a straight 18" pipe with a tip. Should sound better too.

They sound so much better without the resonator!

That is what I heard and saw in videos, and will look better too not having that ugly *** thing back there.

But really, could they have stuff any more heat shields on the exhaust of this thing?! From the headers ALL THE WAY BACK..
Found out it has an aluminum drive shaft, found that to be interesting.

The exhaust on my '00 Jimmy was absolutely ridiculous, especially compared to the '89 S10 Blazer. The muffler was HUGE and heavy.

That is about the same as the TB. The muffler is about 2+ feet long, insane.
