Day after washing and waxing...

 

Git me some aluminum skid plates off of an '89 blazer =) A few tapped holes and I'm off to the races. Pics to follow.

 

i read that like 3 or 4 times, trying to figure out how there wasn't any other damage to your truck. then realized what you had actually done.

The guy i bought it from must have replaced the stock hood ( for whatever reason) with a blazer hood. And on friday i went to my favorite junck yard and i found my exact truck. It was a 2001 black 2 dr 4x4 jimmy, it was rolled but only the back was smashed. interior was excatly the same, except for having the steering wheel controlls for the radio. So i took the hood and put it on my truck.

 

^Nice find! Been keeping an eye out for a black Blazer hood around here since mine has a lot of little flaws in it and I don't have the sack to try wetsanding something that big lol.

 

My old hood had a small dent at the front from some idiot in my TC class slamming the hood to hard. Been looking for a black sonoma/jimmy hood for a long time, was so happy when i found this one.

 

I just looked at the radar, and I'm glad I'm not in Miami right now. They're getting pounded! So needless to say, all that crap is to the south. It's gonna be pretty nice today. Besides, it usually rains the day after I wash my truck. That's how it goes.
