Ill be goshderned. He's gonna fix it. He fixed his grille and fender himself... with some help from my dad and the neighbor.

Plus I'm gonna have enough work on my hands playing with my 358. Which is going to be picked up tomorrow. We will be driving down to Myrtle Beach and getting it ourselves.

And just a little sidenote my Future Chevy Driver is 6 pounds and I'm only 32 weeks... 8 weeks from due date.

Default Replaced TPS and cleaned MAF

My blazer off and on had been sputtering, absoutly no throtle responce.
My check engine light came on and it came up with TPS. and instead of paying $250 i decided to take on the challenge myself.(probably the most intense mechanicly repair I've ever done.)
I picked up the part for about $40 which I was pleased with.
Did some research and found out where it was located. and began.

Diagram where TPS is located:

Actual picture of my TPS

From side:

After finishing I buttoned everything back up and drove it around. it was MUCh better, but still was a little slugish. So i took it a step further and cleaned the MAF sensor. WOW what a difference maker! throttle responce is AMAZING!!

just thought I'd share my sucess

put four quarts of transmission fluid and some lucas transmission treatment in her.. my transmission has been slipping, and I found that the dipstick was dry as a bone. made a night and day difference in driving. hopefully it won't need a rehaul anytime soon!

Changed the oil and filter yesterday. Went from a dino 10w30 and Wix filter to synthetic 10w30 and a Mobil 1 filter. No leaks, other than the valve cover gasket, which was already leaking.

FML... no engine yet again. I'm getting pretty pissed off. Apparently men don't know how to call ahead to see if their father is going to be in town or not so we can get the engine from his house. Apparently he's in effing PA

Spent hour and a half and determined my amp is bad. But did find out that moms 400 watt california profile amp and 12" sub doesnt sound too bad in the blazer! Ha ha yeah mom bumps too, lol. Tapped off the amp wires and cleaned up the cargo area and the front. Almost on E so on way home got gas and added fuel cleaner. Really wanted to wash it cause it was beautiful out, but didn't and now it's raining so WIN heh heh.
