what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
Yesterday I put the split loom over the injector wires, saw & fixed a broken wire in a loom on the PS by the PCM (YAY! now my oil pressure gauge doesn't bounce all over the damn place & max out - I hope), tidied up some wiring under the hood etc. Pics are here https://blazerforum.com/forum/showth...t=50638&page=5 , not that great of detail.
Then on the way home with it being just under freezing & the roads wet I used the wipers & fluid a lot. Hmmm it seems to be flowing less, wtf is the pump on it's way out?! Then it stops completely, I can still hear the pump but no fluid shooting out. I checked the level when I was at work, it's half full. Then as I was running it again, leaning forward, window down & listening the truck suddenly shutters & almost stalls WTF! Pull over, pop the hood & theres windshield washer fluid all over the place, right by the intake for the supercharger! Omg it got sucked INTO the engine. Thankfully the supercharger wasn't running due to the broken belt that will be here Wednesday or it could have been much worse.
Turns out the <cough> 'mechanic' that installed the supercharger lengthened the washer hose leading to the hood... now I'm not the brightest person on earth but common sence would tell me "do not use zipties on a smooth tube thats going to be pressurized"! He cut the tube & added 3" of rubber tube around it to make it longer & used 2 zipties to hold it on.
My gf even said "he was nuts, thats something you'd expect ME to do" lol
<edit> oh yeah, the bonnet on the TB seemed a bit loose, not being held down all the way on the clip side. So I decided to break it, I mean try to bend it so it holds it down better. Ooooopth, now the clip side is back on but with 2 screws through the metal clip & into the underside of the plastic bonnet. Looks like I'm getting that pollished aluminum one from Wynjammer or hitting up the wreckers for a used one in the near future.

went shopping since we are on a half day schedule (0800-1200)
found a few odds and ends for the old trailer project: donut style spares (3) to replace the old dry rotted 12"-ers on it now, a bottle jack and lug wrench too
Also picked up a set of 'burban hooks for the old girl so now i can strap down my canoe with authority!
3 donuts, 2 hooks, 2 visor flaps (to be painted and used as a cb face plate and switch panel for my lights), a bottle jack, lug wrench, a spare carrier, and 10 lugs = $35 after environmental fee and $2 to get it. I <3 Pick-N-Pull!!!

Driving from work my wheel studs broke and the rotor fell on the rim cracking it and the rim. So bought new studs, nuts, a rotor, a caliper(cause it was sticking), a flexible brake line, and a new rim.
not too much today.
just a few more miles on the clock. went to shoot the s**t with Brad (zedartwo), check out a new trail. stickly recon today, Brad's truck is running all funky.
but it's gonna be a blast when we hit!
DUDE!!!! that absolutely sucks!

Pulled out the center console looking for amp for rear speakers. It wasn't under there, but I did see a little bit of rust around two of the posts the console attaches to. The posts come out of the frame, so I am thinking a little bit of water has entered in there from underneath the truck somewhere along the line. Put a little silicone caulk in there and replaced the nut/washer combo.
