Ah ha! Like i said, I guessed where you were since "central in" is rather vauge... America's crossroads and all...
BUT, I'm glad you got a comperable deal anyway

My integrity is beyond reproach!!!

that being said, today I drove it, found an issue, and am currently searching for like minded Fail Trucks.... I also managed to keep all of my fingers on whilst building an access plate for my oil filter on the skid plate and scoring enough 3/16" fuel line to edge the whole thing. Now if I can just get it somewhere where I can bend it competently....

Blazer?! What Blazer?....Oh I seem to remember I have brown and tan one somewhere out east with brand spankin' new 31X10.50 BF Goodrich AT/KO's. LOL.

ROFL. I'm going 10 rounds with a chunk of aluminum. Not only have i not fabbed my own shakles, I fear the very idea. I did pony up 50 bones for a set though

Put in new plugs, cap, rotor, and wires.
Put on my new Impact strip.
Bent my skidplate into shape.
Readjusted my CAI and heat shield for a better ift and tighter fittings. Cleaned the air filter as well.

FAILED the one fun thing I had planned today: +2" shackles. Took at swing at them at 6pm. Had everything loose except all bushings and BOTH lower bolts (but not nuts!). Used half a can of PB on em and dented a 3lb sledge pounding on verious parts of the rear end....

it's just double sided 3m tape.
They come off fairly easily with a blade (at a junkyard) or with heat and spiderwire style fishing line (holds up better than monofilimant) no holes unless you are lazy taking them off, or have paint/rust problems behind the strips (ask Sisk).

If you debage, send me your LT badges... this LS needs and upgrade...
