Painted the grill ( body color in between the ''chrome'' bars) took off the running boards and painted the frame, and painted the trailer hitch. Walked around to check out my work and found that I forgot to paint the tow hooks. D'oh.

got my new radiator in today, would have been a quick and simple 2 hour job (at the most) but as i was about ready to droo the new one in i noticed the lower rubber bushings where the radiator sits were crap, actually looked like they had melted. i tried 2 parts stores, no luck, stopped at a g.m. dealer, their parts/service dept not open on saterday/sunday. wound up driving out tho where my parts rig is and got the bushings off of it. they were fine, which is odd when you consider that the parts blazer is 2 years older and has 20,000 more miles than the "good" truck. i really wasnt impressed with those quick-connectors on the cooler lines, but they did go together really well. i didnt ask for next-day delivery on the rad, but it came next-day anyways. all-aluminum! 137 with shipping. after the old one was out i could see the leak easily, cracked tank on the drivers side up top on the core-support side. check off another problem i should never have again. someday i'll have a new truck at this rate. heres some pics from today. helps to hold back a/c lines and air filter box with straps! new radiator, just put on the quick-connects. bad lower mount bushings! cracked plastic tank. all back together. hope this is it for awhile, got a '67 jd 110 rebuild project going id like to get finished.
