I had a new muffler and tailpipe put on the Blazer today. I also took the really good rear tires off the wrecked '94 Jimmy and put them on the Blazer. It's nice to have a good parts rig around the place!

 

I wired up the trailer hitch wires and my rear view camera.

 

Changed the oil, again.

Last year before weather went bad.

Found some plastic peice for the inside. Wrong color but some plastic paint will fix that up. The guy at the junk yard told me a place that will match it. I cannot decide if I want to paint it back to light brown or go with something different.


This year.


The past month and 1/2 or so.

1. Did a quick look into why the driver side door power lock and switch does not work.

2. Took it to midas and found out the exhuast is fine for now but tail pipe and muffler is showing their age. In fact I was pretty sure if I took a screw driver to it. I could poke a whole through it. The guy at midas says I should get it done asap. He is always like that. But I know differently. But I did add it to my list of stuff to do.

3. Found a short in the rear winsheild wiper wiring by the back tailgate. I I fixed the wiring and have voltage now. But it still does not work. I did post a message about it under eletrical.

4. I need a little more hose to reconnect the rear wiper fluid hose up. But it does not matter. I need to look and remember what it needs to hook up under the hood. This will be on hold until I fix the rear wiper.

 

Replaced right side mirror, the old one was about ready to snap again and the tape/glue job looked horrid. Also replaced the 4x4 selector button cuz 2 of 3 lights quit working and I hate not having the visual confirmation that it is in 2wd, even though I rarely use the 4wd.

 

washed mine today black looks good clean just need to find out now what is causeing to change rough when hot no problem when its cold

 

check engine light came on again, hooked up the scan tool and it said evaporative emmision something or other, came up one other time before. took off the gas cap looked at the seal, put back on and tightend good. reset light. so far so good. could be something else, but at least its not anything major. i just got done saying what would be next after putting a new radiator in on saterday.

 

Detailed the interior for about 3.5 hours. Also bought a code reader, it looks good!

 

HIDssssss came in!!!! But I was sleeping so they are at the post office. Wont be able to get them till tomorrow But I'm really happy they have arrived considering the tracking number was invalid lol

 

Nice! What company did you end up going with? I'm at a crossroads here of who to choose lol.
