what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
I did a full lube, oil and filter. Topped up all the fluids, fixed a leak on the window wiper fluid reservoir, put air in the tires and replaced a bulb in the overhead lights. I did all that I wanted to do and still had some time so I swept out the garage and got the garbage ready for the dump. It was a good day.
I put a battery in the JIMMY, Yes my old Jimmy lol.
Then watched it drive out the driveway. Officially sold and gone. But hopefully in a year (this guys not to good with keeping vehicles longer than that) I will buy it back and build a mud rig!

Got a rear tire mount from the junkyard for $20
wire brushed the few rust spots and sprayed it black. Brushed and washed the spare steele rim painting that black tomorrow. Cranked my TBars a bit to level out the front. Also removed the running boards, she looks so much cleaner and higher now. Hopefully mounting the Spare tire rack tomorrow or friday...

Lets see, I'll post what I've done in the last three days.
~ Traded my Grand Prix for it
~ Got the brakes lights working (by plugging the switch back in)
~ Oil and filter change. The old filter had been on there so long, it was rusty and I had to punch through it with a screwdriver to get enough torque to get it loose.
~ Fixed the instrument cluster issues (quite by accident) by undoing the negative battery terminal and hooking it back up.
~ Replaced a couple of burnt out fuses.
~ Pulled the DRL fuse because the dim light and the DRLs come on at the same time. Still trying to sort that one out.
~ Put the driver side mirror back on.
~ Discovered that my 4x4 does not work. Driveshaft does not turn in 4x4, so it's looking like the vacuum actuator.
~ Re-soldered the wiper pulse board.
~ Changed a leaking rear brake hose, and bled the rear brakes. Shredded both bleeder valves in the process >:-( Brakes are 409684845x better now though.
~ Rotated the tires after replacing the brake hose.
I've been busy!

I got the spare tire rack installed. It was much more difficult than what I thought. I had to have some help on it.
But nonetheless, here are some pics of it on my 96 four door.

Next up is to replace dash gauges with led's and then paint the exterior chrome around the wheel well black.
