Sounds good! Is that the one with the bad starter? (I hope I'm not confusing you with someone else, if so, I'm sorry)

 

Yeah, I cracked it the first time I tried to start her after rebuilding it. It now has a brand new correct year and shimmed starter. New brass freeze plugs, and so far no more water in my oil.

And it sounds good cause there is no exhaust, just the manifolds, lol.

 

Awesome congrats! I just finished the video and there's some smoke about the 4 minute mark and further on, what was that? (or were the freeze plugs something noticed today?)

 

There was oil on the exhaust manifold from when we had the valve covers off, so it was just burning off. I was concerned about it at first and you can see me point to it just to make sure it was oil.

 

I did see you point, but couldn't tell what was being said, haha. So now that it's running... time for some dirt? hehe

 

lol yeah... it was loud. If it gets dirt its gonna be from the dirt road at the end of our street, lol. And there will be video of her first drive.

got the high flow cat put on, also got my first gen skid plates modified and they fit perfectly :P gotta love it when you only spend 10$ on 300$ ish worth of parts. also helps when you have a medal shop.

 

Removed my stock trailer hitch, I will never use it. Anyone want to but it? Hahaha.
