Took out the carpeting in the bed hoping to find my courtesy light short, but nope, no luck. Then I put it all back together and decided to remove the rear sway bar since it wasn't even attached to the axle.

 

Long story. Could not get it smogged because the CARB number tag had rusted off the headers. Found the header manufacturer (they were installed in 95). Pulled one of the headers off and got a new CARB number tag welded on. Decided to replace the plugs/wires/gaskets since I had one of the headers off. Easy for the passenger side. However, to remove the header for the driver side you have to remove the fan cowl, remove the belt, pull the power steering pully off, remove the power steering unit so you can remove the front stud for the header. Replaced the gaskets/plugs for the driver side and put everything back. I will replace the plug wires next weekend.
Question: Looking at the fan, I think I want to replace it with an electric fan. Has anyone done this and do you have any recommendations?
1990 K5 Blazer 350. Radiator seems to be 19" x 29". There is an air conditioning condenser in front of it.

 

Blazer took me to advance for that joint for my friends f250 i replaced it greased the whole truck and came home the truck drives great HE also gave me 100 bucks that i didnt wanna take but eh he assisted =(

 

Went for a little backwoods camping trip

 

replaced the fuel filter and despaired that it didnt fix the fuel pressure problems.

 

Drove 32 miles from home to work then back home.

 

drove to and from work. still going to fill her up on the way to drop off my girlfriend. however im thinking about starting another build thread on here for my friends car.... if anybody has heard of fearless 4 at wilmot speedway.... thats what im going to do. build it and drive it. gotta build a 4 point rollcage so if anyone has pointers on that i could use the help.

 

I ordered some leds for the interior today from superbrightleds.com, we'll see how long it takes for them to get here.
Is it bad that I get exited about getting leds?
