woo hoo, rear-diffie serviced. FWIW, advance-auto stocks the rear-axle cover and gasket set for $15 (Dorman brand). I didnt check there first and paid $27 for the cover at the dealership. not too terribly bad, but drop the spare tire if you have 4wd. It just didnt strike me to do that until I was underneath the thing (yeah, call me slow).

bought and installed:

dizzy cap, rotor, plugs wires, air filter, front brakes, and an oil change

bought:
valve guide seals
tranny filter/gasket/fluid
Heater core...finding excuses to procrastinate the installation lol



if you are in the reno area, summit on glendale has a 2inch fiberglass cowl hood for 300 bux..........I have the money, but its not for that. Just a heads up for anyone looking

started taking off my stock uppers to replace them with tubulars, but the tool i need to finish is in my tool cart at work so it will have to wait another day or 2

the ball joints max out and puts stress on the arm apparently
new ones should help

spent all day detailing my 96 s-blaz
clay bared it waxed it undercoat frame rails paint roof rack blacken out wheel wells painted bumper strips with bumper paint . wife got a little upset but my ride looks great

Wow! Looks amazing!

Anyway I've painted my grill black, hopefully I can finish up later today (weather permitting that is)
