i got my skid plate back on and got my gmc 3/4 ton on ramps and jacks ready for the transmission to be dropped

tomorrow i might do the cables on the blazer and start dropping that trans

Speaking on skid plates, what are the chances I could find a metal one at the yard? I mean has anybody had any luck at the yard for plates? I wanted one for my oil filter especially.

people love to grab them even if they have them already

when i was at the pick and pull i couldn't find any

id like to have a set for my dads pickup

My blazer has all 4

Oh, ok. So it's a shot in the dark. And will the oil filter skid plate from a 1st gen fit my 2nd gen? When you say you have all 4, All 4 of yours are metal?

yup i dont know if they will fit a 2nd gen

from the looks of my dads 97 s10 pickup they should bolt right up

just in case ill sell them if they dont bolt up its still a profit

i got my skid plate and front axle skid plates from the pick n' pull in wadsworth for 30 bucks. sweet deal if you ask me.

nothing big today
have my 33inch spare in place...winter prep checklist...COMPLETE!!!
have my hids in both high and low now...plus did quadmod adjustment...no drl's again..wooohooo

^^^ HOLY BRIGHT lol.

I fixed my floppy passenger side headlight (by replacing the mount with the factory mount on the aftermarket light).

Gotta reaim them when it gets a lil darker.
