what have i done lately?
well the past several days has included removal and of the transmission. sending it out having it rebuilt. now i've installed it and run new vacuum lines, oil seals and u-joints added a bit of undercoating while it was out to. tonight should be able to get the transfercase back in and the driveshafts. finish up the wiring if the kids let me .

Sounds like you're a very busy man lol.

But I went to the yard today and got another skid plate to go along with the one for the oil filter. I think this one is for the tranny. Pics of the sludge on it will be up soon lol.

if its a large one its for the tcase the smallest one is for the oil pan

My bad, I didn't really think about that haha. It is the middle one. For the front diff. I got the correct brackets for it too I believe. It needs brackets right? I'm pretty sure.

You had the aluminum skids stock on your truck though right?

yup and yes there is the 2 brackets on mine i just confirmed on lcm truck

mine are shot tho the screws then to get loose so i added a nut on top of the bracket

Hopefully I got the right brackets lol.

sure I never knew the brackets came off till now . When my uncle had the truck the mechanic he brought it too must of miss threaded them

the nuts do hold tho so im happy

I had to have some help for mine!

It took a dude a lot bigger than me, a breaker bar, and a pair of channel locks lol. He had to bend the bolt.
