There's a pic of what I have, Mr. Tibbs. Probably 5 or 6 years old now, and worth every single penny I paid for it.

New parking brake shoes on a 98 blazer 4wh/4dr. No pads at all on the old ones just rust. In fact, so much rust on the drum of the rotor that I had to sand it down to get it over the new ones!

Okay, the diffy skid plate is finally on lol. I actually did a no no. I drove the blazer after I took out both of the stock bolts on either side of the oil pan. Needless to say, after I drove it, something got lowered or dropped somehow so I had to push it back up so the bolt would align with the hole again.

Anyways, on one side of the oil pan I used a slightly longer bolt and the other side a slightly shorter bolt. This is because the longer bolt didn't have enough clearance on the right side of the oil pan.

But the brackets are on and the diffy skid plate is finally on. Now to see if I can complete the set and get a transfer case soon lol.

Here are some pics!

Btw, there might be a tad bit of mud under the truck haha. I know it's dirty. But she's a dirty girl. Had to put some metal underneath to keep her from getting more mud or any liquid up under her "important parts."

One question for someone that has put this diffy plate on. The back bolts that go through the bracket don't seem to tighten. Am I doing something wrong? They just won't tighten up at all. Do I need to use one of these to keep it secure or no?

Also, random, I looked at that exact same impact at pepboys. It was on sale for like $79. But decided against it for now. Got great reviews and I like the color scheme! :P

Ordered the SOLUX upgrade headlights for low beam, high beam and fogs. Headlights123 has same customer service at Wipers123 - order was shipped within hours of placing it and the bulbs got to me in 3 days. My project this weekend is to swap out all the bulbs...thank god its finally going to be warm in WI. Stay tuned...
