Brought CB in for an alignment after all the front end work. It rides oh so nice compared to having the TB's twisted an inch & a half. They're all relaxed & working how they should & I have probably 1" or so lift with the RC lift installed over having them twisted.
The shocks are decent, I have no issues with them. Maybe it's the new shocks vs 10 year old shocks on the rear but it's a lot smoother & comfortable, settles quick too.

Me and the blazer had a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNG DAY

I burnt most of the bad fuel it had
then a friend of mine called asking if i could mow his lawn . HE cant do it any more since he has infasima and hes on oxygen.

other then that i made 40 bucks for mowing 3 acres of grass ... aw well

the plates are coming off the blazer Wednesday since i cant pay for the regi renewal
and the blazer still has the problem when accelerating

every thing checked off good ... I think its the icm again ...

sigh the rants done ..... hopefully the blazer stays on the road

Edit: forgot i took a picture of the blazer today I thought id share

Got my 3rd brake light working! Just bums me out that I can't see it working while driving

Modified this to use 18 LEDs (also didn't use a pumpkin at all)

I want to drive around riding my brakes now.

(vids in my build thread)

Looks cool!!!

I've never really worked with this type of electonics but this looks like a pretty simple mod. My question to you is that they(the maker of the Cylon Jack-O-Latern) used a 9v battery, does this work with the 12-14v car battery output? Also since his design was for 6 Leds did you tie three together?

Thanks!
Used a voltage regulator to get the right power (dropped it to 5V, plenty to push everything)
And yeah, I tied LEDs so it doesn't look quite right. But close enough. Trying to expand the basic circuit to run all 30 of the stock LEDs didn't seem to be worth the effort

ok so i know its been a loooooooong while since ive been on here and im sorry about that. the internet has been buggy on my computer and ive been busy working on stuff outside since its been so nice out. anyways i thought i would give everyone a little update. as of wednesday of last week i have been driving around the 78 k5 with the boggers on and it is a dream come true lol. i couldnt be happier. im uploading a ton of pics that i have taken over the past months of work done to the trucks. i ended up selling the 80s something k5 i had for like 800. so that one is gone but i still have the 74 and the 78. the 74 is going to remain a project truck that i can beat and trailer around to events and mudding competitions. the 78 is more of a fun toy that i can drive around on the street. and the green blazer has been sitting on the front lawn looking muddy and sad from the last time i drove her lol. either way here are a few pics of the blazers.

this is how the 74 was one i cut the fenders to fit the 38s on her. i just took tin snips and cut away to make sure i wasnt going to rub anywhere.

this is how i took the top off of the 74 by myself and now it is staying off for good.

and this is how the 78 is being driven daily by me lol. very loud tires.

this is an offroad bumper i made for the 74. its a tube of stainless with a bunch of goodies welded on it. should be able to run over a tree lol.

top off the 74

and top off the 78 with people loaded in the back.

and this is the diy4x stuff i bought and installed on the 78 in order to get the amount of lift without any blocks.

like i said im sorry for not being on here for a long while but ill try to be on here more often. any questions about the stuff ive been up to just shoot me a post.

Did this a while ago, bought it already assembled and just had to wire it up. If I wasn't worried about getting busted for impersonating a cop or whatever, this sucker would be blue. That'd be cool (yes, I know I'm kind of geeky. I'm 44 and married with children so that doesn't bother me)

Plasmaglow 10415 Night Raider White LED Scanner (Plasmaglow tries to imply it's somehow related to Knight Rider, but that's obviously crazy talk. I wouldn't have Knight Rider stuff on my vehicle. It's a new model of Cylon because that's not at all pathetic)

Transmission fluid/filter change 2002 blazer. Piece of cake. Not sure why so many had problems.

I bought a nused 04 Trailblazer with only 56,000 miles on her.

First repair- new 20 amp mini fuse so the accessory outlets work.
