did you notice any improvement worth doing? Im guessing this was a full rebuild with performance in mind?

chris015: I can't say yet, I just about have the blazer back on the road. It wasn't a full build though. I replaced the heads due to having been driven excesively with a dead miss and a leaking LIM gasket (which is how it was when I got it for a song), and decided to get the heads ready for when/if I get around to dropping this engine into my Jeep.

My goal is to have the 4.3L with a marine efi intake and a sm420 in the Jeep, and a 5.3l with a 4l80e in the AWD Blazer.

Looks good!

I took off the stupid bug deflector on the Jimmy this morning. it didnt do crap but catch wind, and hide snow for it to melt and create a crap ton of ice on the front of the truck.
