what have you gotten done on your blazer today?

Just put in a new head unit over the weekend. Got to use a family friend's garage to get out of the 30 degree weather. Getting new speakers as well but going to let someone else put those in.
Also looking at putting some of these on my stock rims.

It is a double din and the 2005 Blazer came with a double din stock. The HVAC were originally where they are in the photo. The stereo lost the dimmer control sadly I did not feel like figuring that out. The dash was the hardest thing about getting the double din in. It still doesn't fit over the new stereo 100%. The stereo pushes out (about 1/4 inch) the piece of the dash that separates the stereo and the HVAC. No big deal to me and it is unnoticeable unless you are looking for it.

I didn't do anything to the Jimmy today, but I did some things for the Jimmy. Primarily, I just got back from the junkyard. What did I find today?
A complete set of stock 1995-97 fog lights, complete with brackets and all mounting hardware, that's what. I tried to get the switch also, but I was Bad Mel and accidentally broke it while removing it; so I just snipped and took the connector. Since I don't expect to ever see another Jimmy with fogs at the junkyard I guess I could've taken the air deflector with the fog light holes too, but that's pretty easy to get and inexpensive too compared to the lights themselves and who knows, it might still be there in a couple weeks and I'll get lucky. But I couldn't risk losing those lamps.
Also picked up a whole set of GMC grille letters - although flimsy retaining nuts were flimsy, so I'll have to get some of those elsewhere when the time comes. And I sliced my hands a little getting at those fog lamp brackets; but it doesn't matter: Wanted. Got.
So to recap, I picked up two to three hundred dollars worth of parts today for less than $20. Happy? Why yes I am.
